An automated robot the same thing every day
Over and over but something isn’t right I need to get away

I can’t stop thinkin they got me all confused
And my head is spinnin I think I’m tortured and abused

Break out outta the hole out for a stroll
Takin control of my life and my destiny

I get up rollin out of bed stuck in the nine to five
Programmed I try to get ahead but I am barely alive

And I can’t help thinkin I’ve got to make a change
But first take care of some business I need to rearrange

Life is a miracle just slow it down and breathe
Find strength and take a chance you must believe

Have faith in no one but yourself you know it’s meant to be
It feels good to walk away it’s gonna set ya free

Now that I’m thinkin as clear as I can be
No more the hamster on the wheel I live for me
